A Personal Perspective

We all have a personal perspective on just about everything, and when putting together an art collection, that perspective usually comes to the forefront. In simple terms, it comes down to what we like and don’t like, but there are always more complex layers to unravel. The ten works by five different artists in this online exhibition all come from a private collection that was amassed over the years. Its just a small sampling of artwork from the larger whole, but it holds together with a perspective and interest in materials, mark making, imagery. These pieces share a small scale and quiet, subtle presence upon first viewing, which grows and deepens as you immerse yourself in the image over time.
